Another shameful low for Greek media: Pame Paketo is a programme that unites long-lost relatives. Samira, a woman from Lebanon, hadn't heard from her brother since 1989. He had moved to Greece in 1982. She contacts the programme and they search for him. And then, in front of a studio audience, she is told that he died in 2007. How cruel is that. As Aris Dimokidis says on Lifo (http://www.lifo.gr/team/bitsandpieces/46804), this is emotional porn where the ante has to be increased to keep viewers on board.
